Jackie Chung is a Registered Psychotherapist and is the owner of Astheneia Counselling.

Jackie is a second-generation Canadian, whose parents are from Guangdong, China. Jackie was born and raised in Toronto and grew up in the Leslieville area.

Jackie earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and worked in the field for 2 years before making the decision to pursue graduate studies in Clinical Counselling in 2019. Over the past 7 years, Jackie has built up his expertise in caring for others through his experiences in graduate school, local volunteering, community social services, church ministry, and clinical practice.

Jackie is a devout Christian. In his free time, Jackie enjoys playing and watching basketball, reading clinical research literature, visiting new cafes in the city, spending quality time with his wife, and listening to sad ballads.
